How can I save plugins/lscripts without having to reload them each time?

Once you've scanned the directories, the plugins should be available in the application without having to reload them.

You'll need to cleanly exit the app first for them to become a permanent addition to your configs.

If they're still disappearing, then you need to check that your lw3ext.cfg file is not set to read only...
