smoothing out edges
yea i know, prob very obvious to every1 else lol, but i have literally just started using it, and was wondering after i made a 2D object with the pen, how can i make those edges so they are curvy if u get me.
PS. sorry for being a total n00b |
I'm assuming you simply want to smooth the outline of the polygon?
In order to do this, you'll need to either add points to each of the edges and drag them into position, or use the Subdivide command and then drag the points into position. In order to use subpatches (Tab key) you'll need to ensure that your shape consists only of triangles and quadrilaterals as other types of polygon won't create a subpatch. I believe with LW9, this restriction has been lifted as it uses a different algorithm for performing the subdivision calculations. |
it worked, cheers
