Here is my favourite bus (Hippie Rulez)! I've almost finished the modeling part. Next time, you'll see it with textures... Comments are welcome! :D

Cya all! :p

great model! very detailed.

one little thing before you start to texture it though: the windshields are not curved on the real thing; they're flat, that's why they made it 2.

love the wheels too!

keep it up!

Huhuuhu

Ok Eagle Eye! I'm going to modify it! Thanks...

Da.Bo 18-01-2003 09:58 PM

YEAH...follow Philip!
He has a VW-Bully WIP too :D
So he know that car....

Hmmm the Wheels are very modern? Why not old style wheels?

Cya.

Ok guys, I've modified it. What do you think now? :o

buco 19-01-2003 01:22 PM

I think it's very good! I have to agree with DaBo for what concerning the wheels but it only depends on your taste, is not a tech issue..

Next part...

I've not finished the modeling, some parts are missing. The mapping is just a preview, some mistakes are still there (bump for the doors, etc.). And after all of these modifications, I will try to make a nice render. For your information, there is 100 spots and 1 area light in the scene : 24 minutes to render it. I think it's not so bad for the quality...

nice!

Please explain how to navigate your site. I'm an idiot - all I could do is change the header & music. None of the other buttons loaded anything.

DKM 21-01-2003 05:00 PM

To navigate on my site, just click the buttons named "Home, News, Artwork, etc...". I don't think it's hard, but maybe you've got a problem with your Internet connexion.

Zarathustra 21-01-2003 05:06 PM

browser problem - the bottom frame wasn't loading.

Sorry for the hassle

DKM 21-01-2003 05:07 PM

No problem dude! ;)

Splendid work DKM!

Personally I think you should go with the old standard rims for the tyres but the ones you got now makes it look a little hotter which is cool also.. I wonder if those things were that shiny even right after they came off the assembly line ;) , I realise its just temporary surfacing though..
Im looking forward to seeing this piece finished!

Here is a new render of my Kombi. I know it sux, but it's still a WIP, remember... Thanks.

philip 26-01-2003 02:09 AM

nah, it doesn't suck. actually I want the headlight surface :D

Kvaalen 26-01-2003 07:12 AM

It doesn't suck at all, I like the way you see the breaks through the wheels on such an old car ;) .

By the way, where in Paris do you live?
