Very weird, some please explaine?
Look at the first and the second picture.
In low poly mode it looks the same but in subpatch in looks diffrent. First I didn't know what was wrong with my model (first pic) there was like a black thing. So I tried to delete the poly and make it again (clockwise). But I still ended up with the weird surface. So I tried again, MISSTAKELY I chose the points in the other direction (counterwise?) and then when I pressed tab it was clean (second pic). What I know: If you chose points in the other direction the surface should be pointing away from you... right? How did this happend? :S |
These picture uploaders are confusing! :S

Hmmm - do you have two points occupying the same place? Just go round selecting the points and see if you end up with two rather than the usual one. Alternatively once you've selected all the points just have a look to see how many points you actually have managed to select. You might also want to hunt around adjoining points as well to see if there are points sharing the same space or, indeed if you have any two point polygons in the area. The info window is your friend.

hi like fallenswordsman said, I would guess that the reason you got that wierd effect was that there was probably more than 1 point at the middle of the bottom row..... that normally causes the strange looking subpatched mesh. so I would guess that it wasnt so much about selecting it in clockwise or counterclockwise direction, but more to do with the fact that the stray point was deleated and the correct one selected the second time round......

Ahh! There was another poly that was facing inwards plus there was two points at the exact same position.
