Light color problem

hey i created an earth scene and want the sun to reflect from behind. but when i set the light color to white it produces a red color. but the color reflecting off the earth is white. any suggestions, tweeks?

To get rid of the red, go to the lens flare options and uncheck the red glow.

wow that looks great. um.. out of curiosity?

I would have left out the light and put it in paint shop pro to do it. but if your animating it i could see your problem.

heres an updtate. this is where the animation ends , it starts with a far view and ends with this

i can't get the atmosphere to look right still. but since its an animation its not that noticable. thanks for you comments

roshan: You could check out this tutorial from Dean Scott on creating a photoreal earth. It's for LW 5.5/6 but the techniques should transfer into newer versions too...
