Ranhell, have you been using it? I was in on the beta, however, I'm really disappointed, after all this time in beta, it is still full of bugs and a lot of the stuff they tout as new, just don't work. I noticed a few hours after the release, they already had a patch.

Alot of my old scenes don't load right or even work without crashing, I just wish they could perfect the things they already have, that would make my day!

Good luck with the new version !! :headbang:

Eek! That doesn't sound good. I'm not really upgrading until I figure out I need the new stuff anyway - which won't be for a while. I don't really know if Newtek can afford to release buggy updates at this point.

I haven't had any problems with 9.5 yet. I haven't really beat-up on it, though I have loaded several older projects without incident.

R-6 26-08-2008 09:21 AM

What Patch??? I don't see any in my Newtek downloads.

rwhunt99 27-08-2008 06:13 AM

I just rechecked and it isn't there anymore, it was a 9.5.1 release

I checked my downloads area last week and there was only the 9.5 download.I have just reformatted my new PC and just started using 9.5 so far so good.;)

I want to state that as a whole ; Lightwave works and I am going to keep at it, it's just I'm frustrated at things that went wrong in v9.0 and have yet to be corrected. Newtech support's standard answer is to upgrade, and that is where the problem lies, the upgrades are the problem.

I encourage you to continue and best wishes in your endeavours !!

Thankyou rwhunt99 !:attn:
All the best to you as well.
3D is a bit slow for me as I'm trying to get my 2D work Folio up.
Really need a juicy full Project tutorial here,to tempt me into 3D again, but doesn't seem to be any movement here for new tutorials.

Yeah, I know what you mean there!

Have you tried Kurv Studios? They have some good ones, and if you catch them on sale, you can save a bundle.

I'm doing a personal project right now with an idea from one of their tutes. I don't know if you've ever heard of a TV show called "Lost in space?" I'm doing my version of the last episode. If it works out, I'll post it on Youtube.

;)

I'll second the suggestion for Kurv Studios. I have several of their tutes. Great Stuff!!
