Ok, another head.. it's really a busy period.. though to share..

Ok, solved all geometry model issues (in 2d everithing always work..) for the head. Now I'll move to the neck and the rest of body..

That's looking real good buco. Would be nice to see it celshaded also though,,,

I'll try that.. Anyway the client wants it to be inserted in a real environment so I'm searching for a real surfacing feel. BTW if the work will be accepted I think I'll have to ask right permission for the character; do someone know how it works in this case?

Not sure how the ownership thing works - I would imagine that it would all depend on the terms of the contract with your client.
I do remember that there was recently (in the last couple of months) a discussion thread on this very subject in the Yahoo LightWave discussion forums, although I can't remember the exact details. I would imagine that if you are contracted to produce a piece of work, then unless your client has specifically requested the models at the end of the project, then those models should belong to you (assuming you're working on a freelance basis). If you're employed by a studio then the models belong to them. My $0.02 |
