Question concerning Saslite
Hi !
I want to use saslite for putting grass on a large green subdivided and subpatched plane (300mX300m) With a density of 100% and larger there are lots of small bundles but I want the whole plane to be covered with nearly the same amount of gras.... Length is about 10-12%.....otherwise it looks more covered, but itīs too long :( I checked this Saslite tut , but donīt know what I did wrong..... Would be very nice, if anybody could tell me what to do... thanks in advance greetz andy |
Had the same problems when I tryed out SasLite.
It happends when the area is to big for the size of the grass. I found two ways of dealing whit it. One spliting the area up in serveral objects and aplying saslite to everyone. It did work but I figured out that you also could add more saslite to the same object. Under the objects deform tab you add another SasLite just like you did whit the first one. You can also make some canges in the settings so the grass doesnt look the same. Also change the chop settings. I got the best grass by first doing a small dark grass whit high dens and then add 3-4 longer greener saslites |
Thanks for your tips and hints Dekki !
I also found a really cool Saslite tutorial site with lots of pictures and good explanation in the meantime, which helped me a lot solving the problem. You can check it out here if you like :) greetz andy |
