Spline. Spline Patching

Hello, i recently been using splines and patching a lot more. i have a few questions however. (keep in mind i just wrote this all out and slw and sm both went down:()

1) Does it matter the order you select the splines to patch, i know you have to select counterclockwise, but does starting with the left or right one and going around really matter?

2) Once and a while one of my splines will just duplicate and i dont know why, anyway there will be 2 exact splines in the same spot and i was wondering how to delete one without the other. Or how do i select one without the other.

3) Is there a way to make the edges of different spline patches match up exactly or near exactly? the only way i can figure is to add a lot more rows and colums to the patch itself so there ends will always line up with something. but that will kill the poly count.

4) .. um 4.. i know theres a four... err.. hmm... well.. heres one, is there a way to select all the polies within a spline without manually selecting them all or lasso-ing them all?

5) remembered my 4:), sometimes when i have like 2 curves, like inward curve then a downsloping curve or something, thepatch will extent beyond the spline, into other parts of the model, messing them up. or it will not make it to the spline leaving large gaps. ive tried increasing the number of rows and stuff to no success. Any suggestions?

Nope, it doesn't matter if u start from left. rigth or bottom. As u said - it must be selected counterclockwise.

Deselect all splines. Select one polygon from those newly created and then press "]" (also u can find it under 'Sel Connect' in 'Display' tab)

That's all i know :D

#1, sometimes i notice when i select from one side then around. i get some different results that if i selected the other way. wondered if it was just me or an actual reson.

And yes #4 worked perfectly, exactly what i needed.. (about 2 weeks ago)

okay not perfect. that sellects all polies that connect. i need somethign that makes them stop when they reach theedge of the spline. Since i use the edge of one spline for the next spline shappe, i continues and basically selects all items.

*oops. my bad, turns out i merged points and thats why they all connected. so this way workes i just have to rethink a few things.
