workroom temperature

c'mon, let's all post out current workroom temperatures.

I'm currently reading 39° C or 102° F and have to clean my wacom every 20 minutes or so... :D

I have to correct this:

room temperature is now 39.5°C (103°F) and my 3GHz CPU runs at 38°C (100°F)

gotta love that ThermalTake SubZero

Cchristensen 08-08-2003 03:08 PM

No air conditioning?

My office is about 70°F (about 20°C) :) My 3GHz is running just a tad cooler at 36°C with 5% overclock.

philip 08-08-2003 03:10 PM

hehe, didn't you tell me you wouldn't overclock it? Mine's OCed to 3311 MHz BTW :D now idling at 37°C (98°F)

just for comparison: my (non-OCed) 2.533 with it's stock cooler idles at 55°C ouch

well I think im in an ove its so dam hot! not as hot as yesterday though - luckily I have no air con but my room is quite cool as it is below ground level!

Dual Processors 2200 amd at Idol. Temp is measured from the first processor. Water cooled on both processors. I have central air con and usually run it dureing the day cause it can get quite hot here in reno. Its probbly 75° in my room.

Ooh and why do you have to clean your wacom? WHAT are you doing to it?

LOL, I did say that. The problem was Asus made it too damn easy! All I had to do was set BIOS to 5% and that was that. I thought I'd see what happened. Seems to be cruising very nicely.

What is going on with the 2.533? I have one at home and it idles between 26 and 32, depending on the ambient temps.

Couldn't actually tell you the current temperature and it also depends on which bit of the building I decide to settle myself but put it this way, at worst I could be stuck in a room with no air con with 30 odd 22 inch monitors all generating heat and its about 33 degrees outside. Tis not comfortable.

Thermometer in my car registered 42 Celcius this evening on the way home from work!

(No air con either....)

I think I'm around 40°C
Wet in the eyes, and cleaning Wacom too ...
Got a dual Xeon 2.6Ghz and is vaporising it's heat in the room.
I had to change the box of my dual PIII also, was overheating and rebooting. I changed for Lian Li aluminium with 4 fans...

Here in Berlin in my room it is 30°C. It was about 34°C in the afternoon. My CPU is at 50°C.
