Yes, I'm talking about surface presets, and Yes I want it to look like real.

I thought that I could do to a surface preset the same as I can with backdrop or texture.

Let me explain better; the object I'm working on, it's round and not even, so I'm afraid to use texture (real picture) and it comes distorded because the real picture is flat (2D) and on side only.
