Looks cool! I like the look it has.
BTW, I think you shuld get rid of the star shapes that apear.
The ones in the eye can be fixed manually or you can use David Ikedas Fix Poles plugin.
For the the other star shapes, I think you should freeze the mesh before taking a screen capture. That usually gets rid of them (that is also why you don't see them in layout). Make sure you save your object before that and that you hit undo after you take the screen capture.
