Question McLaren F1 Modelling

Philip,

I've been attempting to continue the McLaren modelling along the lines you started in Episode 3 (coo sounding like a Star Wars Film :-) ), but am having trouble with the base of the rear roof strut and wing panel.

By my reckoning, the base of the rear strut should be a 5x2 patch and the top of the rear wing a 6x7 patch to accurately match the polys in the surrounding patch areas.

However, I'm getting an unsightly crease where the roof strut meets the wing panel (as highlighted in the attached picture).

I'm assuming that it's because there's too much geometry in such a limited space, but I'm totally stumped as how to perform the patch with less geometry and still allow all the polys to weld together.

Any pointers here before the next tute comes online?

Cheers,
Mark
