Well, if you think logically about it, only the selected Camera
should be rendered by Lightwave since otherwise how would it know when you wanted alternative camera views to render? The alternative is that all camera views render for the entire sequence, which would lead to incredibly long render times and superfluous output.
As far as I am aware, Lightwave is pretty unique in allowing multiple cameras within a scene. Most 3D packages simply limit you to a single camera and render whatever that can see.
