Those are pretty impressive given your 3 hour limit. Any reason for three hours? Why not four, or two? Just wondering if there's a reason behind it.
Also, you never really answered the box modeiling question (or maybe you did... since I'm still a newb, maybe I just misunderstood)... Sure you use subdivision surfaces, but do you start with a box?
