well, what's holding me back is that i have the feeling that i have to learn a new package from scratch....
it's the same with Softimage|Xsi. the two packages have awesome animation stuff in it.....but to learn a whole new package for that?!....pffew. i hate the way of modeling in Maya (maybe because i'm used to do it the LW-way) but i like the openGL speed of Maya very much....no matter what u do....it runs smooth. and to be honest, the character-animation stuff in LW is terrible, but in Maya it is the best
.......so, all in all.....i'm VERY interested.....but a little shaky....:|
