It looks a little thick on the top I think...but the render is pretty good
you should borrow a SW book on the liberary if you haven't allready...They usaully have great reference pictures and good info. (u could probably find it on the net to but anyway)
I tryed to make my own lightsaber couple of month ago, but it didn't work out to good...I might try again some day
