Hi, got a little problem with the tower tut in lightwave 7 book, im at the bit were i have to bevel the top of the tower to give it a rounded edge, ive done the 1st bit, were it asked to input

this works fine, and i see the top polygon rise a bit, but when i move onto the next step it goes a bit strange like the pic below shows
the setting it wants inputed are
