Gotta say that it was a good month last month. I thought the competition entries were probably some of the strongest we've seen. Big Kudos to all who took part!

Krull, you did a great job of creating a character from scratch in just seven days. I'm impressed with that and despite the time scale, you had a nice looking model at the end of it.

Sharp - again, I like the character you decided to take on. The result was cool.

Bullet_Evader. I enjoyed watching this one grow despite the problems you initially had with the body and the decisions you had to make about whether to put the faces on him or not. The final render has a nice energy and ferocity to it. The orange light gives you a sense of menace.

Zeeman - I still think you had better legs on your character than mine! Your model took shape very quickly. I think, like myself, you might have been let down a bit by the lack of texturing skills. But it was fun to watch this one take shape.

Sspikedudley - I really enjoyed watching this one take shape. The textures came together quite nicely at the end, plus you got some great flame effects in there as well.

Shadowfox - I liked the design of your character. Kind of reminds me of DeviantArt's imp. But the clothing and walking stick really gave him a unique design.

Sandman - Brilliant concept! Three headed sausage dog! It was nicely off the wall and well executed as well. I loved seeing your composites of him attacking the schoolbus. Kind of the cute doggy from hell.

Quaoar - Good to have you back again! Even though you entered a little late, you got a really good result. The character design is excellent. As people have said, it has a Tim Burtonesque look to it. And the background seemed to take you no time at all to build. The final render was really good. Love the whole treehouse concept he has.

Puppet - I never thought I'd see you finish this one! You went all quiet for ages, then suddenly out of nowhere this appeared! You stuck closely to your original design and the composite in the end is nicely done. It could so easily be a toy on your desk there.

Mike - thanks for organizing the contest! It was a blast! Learnt a lot myself, but I think I set my goals too high. Ah well, I'll know for next time!

Well done, everybody and thanks for all the help and support along the way.
