Hehe,,, well ozwolf... Max,,, i have to pick up,,,, for job purposes,,, if i am going to make the transition soon. Hopefully i confirm things with the studio soon, I already have ver 5 with me, thanks to the ppl. As for Maya.. it attracts me slowly,,, because its like LW it contains things all under one hood. Have to agree with Sharp,,, there are things that will make you go wow,,, coool... Like for example,,, if you wanted to say do a UV map of a head in LW,,, man,, the steps you have to go through to get it right is
ARRRGG... ,, Unweld,,, morph,,,,,, flatten,,,,, planar UV,,,,,,layout,,,,,,,baking,,,,,,morph target,,,,,,,save transformed,,,,,merge points.
As for Maya,,, cut the model in half..... Map that,,,, enter into the editor and start to pull the points and adjust the map,,, Mirror, and flip the UVs,,, and sew them up.

Okok i know LW is good at texturing and all,,, but the abillity to handle the CVs without worriing about the model is a welcomed sight... I know there are plugins and all,,, but hey,,, maya has that built in,,, i can go on about cllusters, paint tools and bla bla bla... Even though i am a noob at Maya.
