i realy advise doing either of those tutorials, you will learn a lot and ENJOY the actual drawing of the uv.


e.g. (mirroring makes life easy.)

* the head should all be joined and flattened
* the arms should be one
* the body should be one
* the leg another
* toes, eyes and other main parts can also be seperate joins

you in effect create little UV maps for each area of the model and arrange them in the uv space. to do this you need to use the morph map tool {W} {T} {M} .

with the map you have created it will take forever to match things up.
