Yep, dog is great. But a dog is a dog. After the fact everything worked out fantastic. The dog broke its jumping on people habit I was trying to break for months and turns out I, the money maker, bill payer and food buyer, only fractured 1 toe and can still work with enough Advil (job requires toework far more then I ever thought possible- I mean they're toes..what's the point of them? Smash one, any one, with a hammer and you'll find out ).

However, at the fact, in the middle of the situation of being hit in the face by something, if the boots were on, the dog would have cracked ribs without regret.

But the point is, jump back 2 steps if possible and assess the situtation in a half second and don't just kick blindly..even if you're wearing steel-toed boots..
