Yo petrograde, yes to make a screen shot just press the Print Screen button on your keyboard. Then fire up Photoshop or any other painting package and create anew doc the size of your screen and press Ctrl + V to paste your screen. And about the points problem to weld points every thing needs to be in the same layer so simply select both layers so there visible and press Ctrl+ C to copy then Ctrl + X to delete and then finally Ctrl V to paste them all back in the first layer then you can weld away.
