Hi folks,

I'm just about to start the McLaren tutorial and i had a couple of question for those who have already completed it.

I had a quick look at the first couple of movies and one thing I noticed was that Philip is drawing splines that don't necessarily follow the profiles of the background image.

I've added a grab to illustrate what I mean, as marked by the yellow arrows.

Now I don't know if it's not important to follow the profiles closely or if he's going to amend them later... but it would be good understand what he's doing exactly... since he's not that hot on actually explaining the reasons for his actions.

Does anyone who has completed the tutorial have any insight? Although the tutorial looks nice and fat, I'm not keen on copying in parrot fashion since that won't necessarily help in creating my own cars of different makes and models later on.
