This is a Singer sewing machine I modeled for a 3D animation feature film (it’s quite an oldie, this model was produced in Germany, 1937)
I’m not exactly sure where to post it
, from my point of view it’s a finished model, not a wip, but I’ll move it to the finished section when I get some final renders … Now it will cause headaches to the guys who will have to UV and texture it … it’s not my concern anymore
It was modeled exclusively in Lightwave (rendered using FPrime) … and has about 38000 subpatches. I’m not sure how many effective work hours it took, but I think 3 months have passed form start to finish, working in my spare time, rarely, since it was not a priority …
As reference, I used several pictures I took myself.
It was completed several weeks ago, but I was to lazy to show it
