[UPDATE]

I decided not to have the lamp in the scene at all, but between my last post and now have been working on some additions and a subtraction.

The place card with my name is gone at the behest of my missus, and I have added a bottle and an ashtray with a cigarette.

The ashtray needs to have some stubbed out butts in it yet, and some ash, and I may or may not label the bottle. Also the lights are being rearranged tonight as I think the caustics on the bottle are over the top.

Anyway, this is so far........
