You could try merging points to get rid of the offending vertices, or Unify Polygons if there are polys that are in the same position.

However, it looks to me as though you've selected pairs of points and then extended them (so you end up with a whole bunch of quads that are only joined at their original origin - select pairs of points and weld to get around this.
