Hey Zippa; There is a great resource for what you want to do in Dan Ablan's book Inside Lightwave 8 It gets started from the beginning and believe me there is a lot of information you need to know! Things such as What kind of animation, what format , camera settings all the way through to setting up a reneder network and the nodes you use. There is much to know and I'm not sure if there is another "one stop source " for your needs, but this tops my list !:p
