Help! Counting Tris
OK, so ive been set a test to create various objects for possible job. Nothing too difficult, but i'm unsure about counting polygons. The test asks for a certain model to be within a poly limit and says to count tris rather than qauds.
"Models must be within the polygon limit (note that it is not always the same). Please do not count quads, but
rather tris (there is no need to triangulate your mesh before creating the image, simply make sure your polygon
counter takes this into consideration."
What i want to know is how to find out how many tris a mesh is composed of. I dont know how to configure the poly counter to count tris. Would simply using the triple tool (therefore making all polys tris) be a way of doing this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
