id agree with fallenswordsman, I was looking for a good head modeling tut, and after trying about 3 or 4 written tuts, I gave up and downloaded the free video one on this site- which was awesome..... I just find that most of them are a bit disjointed, and you get to a stage where u cant make out what the dude just did and just cant continue anymore...... if you want to learn, id recommend you get a few textbooks from amazon or where ever because they take you step by step from the beginning right through....... and are always great for reference.... look at a combo of Dan Ablans inside lightwave book and timothy albees Essential Lightwave 3d- they work nicely together covering things the other one doesnt... and then of course Jonny Gordens excellent Cartoon character creation book if you are interested in organic modeling and rigging..........
and then also get hold of a few video tuts- they will help you a lot..... I have learned more from the videos on this site than any thing else......

that said, the newtek site has some good tutorials, flay.com, pastaAss.com... ok just joking about the last one
