Just done the free red pepper tutorial - very interesting in making new more organic shapes.

One thing that I would like to ask - the instructor makes tapered 5 sided cylinders for the body of the pepper, then deletes the single end polygons, and adds in two to replace these manually - same for the stalk - why is this?

the stalk and pepper are separate and not joined. I was wondering if this was better than extending the stalk out of the geometry on the top of the pepper?

If anyone has any answers, that would be great.
