Lightwave and 3D Coat are very common today. I use 3D Coat at work along with Lightwave. Adam is great at teaching 3D Coat. Check out his link to some great 3D Coat training!

Hopefully I can post up some WIP with LIghtwave and 3D Coat being used with my M2 Bradley.
