I thought X2 *was* great. Only the things I mentioned tasted kind of sour. I believe Nightcrawler could have been a lot more substantial, characterwise, if he wasn't babbling all the time. He would have deserved that. Some darker, more sinister touch to him maybe...

On the Matrix: I loved the original one, in spite of the religious allegories. Since tehy were presented in a plausible, sincere manner, with a touch of mysticism. In the second on the other hand it all was pretty blunt. It just lacked depth.

But yeah, we learned that swearing in french is like wiping your ass with silk: uneffective!
