Has to be surfacing here too. My modelling is coming along well (even though it still sucks), but I really do have a problem getting realistic surfaces on models.
I'm OK with relatively simple stuff, but if you look at some of the best surfaces around - just how the hell do these people manage to visualise these?
The Ocean surfaces in Eki's plugpak for instance - there's almost 10 layers of spec and reflectance in there !!!!
