Yeah, I'm sure he drew some design inpsiriation from the Apache amongst others.

Military hardware is a good source of ideas, I have a sizeable library of military avaitional hardware images for working through ideas and concepts.

Not sure about the AA you mention, if you maximise the browser to ensure IE6 isn't sizing down to the visible window area, it should all be nice and smooth.

I plan to work more on this model in a the coming week or so, the legs are to be scaled down as they are much longer than they should be.
