i like it clean model!! one comment: there is an error under the ear...there are some strange polygons ( maybe its the cameraview )!!

also a tip from me :
give her eyelashes!!!
im almost sure that when you add eyelashes that see will get that little bit extra of a womans look!!

keep on going with this!!!

nope - no strange polys, just one whacking great big hole! I seem to create a lot of holes in my models somehow! I've had a look at the competition over at SimplyMaya and it looks like I've got my work cut out for me. That orc over there is looking mightily good. And that minataur is looking impressive too. I'm hoping to sway the judges with the full frontal nudity!

Yep, definitely needs a few tweaks, but it's beginning to look less David Coulthard and more Julian Clary at least

Ah - if only the monthly challenge was model David Coulthard - us Lightwavers would win hands down! Cheers guys! Tonight is going to be concept sketching time for the torso so I'm going to lay off modeller for at least one night, then the rest of this week is going to be spent putting the torso together.
@Bullet - yep eyelashes - I'm just trying to figure out if I should model those individually or sasquatch them in place and make her look like Denis Healy.

Got a bit of work done on the body, but I'm way behind on the time schedule I set myself. Hopefully have the arms in place by the end of the week then its the happy task of seeing what mythical creature I can turn her into.

Okay another quick update and I've finally decided on a creature (Thanks for all the suggestions, guys) I'm going for a satyr! The odd legs are causing me a bit of trouble but they'll be covered with fur eventually anyway. I've tried to box model in a couple of the major muscle masses to the legs as I don't think I'll have time to wrestle with my mesh to make it exactly the way I look - box modelling was a nice shortcut for now. I also gave her a couple of horns. The idea is to have her as a sort of warrior satyr carrying a spear. I might give her a few pieces of tribal jewellery as well to make her look sweet. I'm thinking something along the lines of American Indian style jewellery at the moment. But that'll be along the last phase of modelling.

Wow man this model is looking HOT!!! the body mesh is looking clean...it's just the legs that bother me...but since they will be covered in fur it's not an issue...can't wait to see the finished model...

Yeh - I'm annoyed with the legs too - I might just restart them from scratch or work on the arms first and then get the legs in. Even if the legs are going to be furry, I still would be happier if I had modelled them correctly. Leg muscles are notoriously tough to model though!

Okay - called it a day quite early this evening. Started on the arms at least.
Chrispo - I tend to do nothing but organics so I've had a bit of practice

Okay I've just been informed that a female satyr is a faun. Well la-di-da if I didn't know that!

Lookin' really good. But maybe you'd want to get those ears up a little higher or closer to the front of the face. Just a little tiny bit.
