going to start refining the shapes now im practically finished.

thats comin along well mate, just 1 thing mayb the legs dont have as much detail as the upper body, but mayb it dont need it, up 2 u nice model thou

i carnt really think of anything else to do on the legs, but i might give more detail around the shoes.
i am going to do a bump map to gives scratchs wires etc. plans on giving a emblem style design on the armor to concept of these to come l8er |

I'm wondering if maybe the modeling details you're adding might be conveyed just as well with a texture.
I think you should be able to have articulated fingers with your polycount. Keep it up! |

my idea on the hands was as gloves , futurteistic platemail.
and of the poly limit i forgot i havnt done the pipes in his head or the sword yet yea i think most details could be done with texture + bump maps but i have very limit experience of texture maps and no use of bump maps. + the minimum poly limit im going to try and put some dataconsoles in the arm and screws , wires in using bump but i dont think it will come out all that well |

The markings look too hand-drawn to me and not like they are engraved or whatever. Also, the materials of the suit are lacking, and don't look like metal or plastic, or whatever you're going for.

i havnt actually thought about materials but i think id better do a spec map or summat. i was going for like painted on tattoo type look but ill look into it being engraved |
