Excellent! Very clean! Even seams to have a little expression to his face.

bullet_evader: I'll work on the textures for the nose and mouth
but I have to wait until friday to get a tablet.
I put that brown color map just as a test.

those ears are looking cool and the stripe patterns help bring out the model

Yeah, great work cgrein. I really like the last image that you posted. As Johnny9ball said, it looks very clean and the zebra has a great feeling of presence, if you know what I mean.

I am not sure about the background though - I can't make up my mind whether it works with your model. Maybe it's just me.

This is going to look excellent when it's finished. Keep it up!

Thanks t1ck135 and arran, sorry for the delay in the answer.

arran: I'll try other backgrounds to see if it looks better.

Looks superb,

Only comment i can gave is that the white parts are looking to clean. maybe you can make it a bit more dirty'er ( another word i don't know if it exists ).

looks awesome. Only crit I can see is that some of the fur looks too coarse. Mainly between the ears. Maybe adjusting sasquatch or uping the AA?

I think the mane on the head could just do with capturing a little more light on the top.
Maybe the eyes could do with a little glint of light to show they are there as its a little dark to see anything at the minute.

I'm still diggin those ears and mouth area - top stuff
