My son plays guitar and he is part of this great site called guitarwar where they compose a small song (about minute longer) and post it, and some one else will post other song against his. So all the members from the site will vote. They don't go for any price, but the coments for each vote is valible.

Could be a good idea to have something like that here (divided by class pro, norm and noobie), since you post something already done, no time is required, and the voters must say why they are voting for this and not for that.

Maybe this could be a good topic to the site sugestions.

Alrighty, folks, we've hit the half-way point!

Remember, still a month to go! Also, keep in mind, the animation is purely OPTIONAL. There's still plenty of time to make your character. If one person decides to do an animation, it doesn't mean he wins automatically.

Hope to see all our entries finish, as well as see new ones join in!

Alrighty, we're heading toward the final stretch!

I hope we get the 5 finished entries required so we can give away our grand prize! Remember: the animation is OPTIONAL. Don't sacrifice getting your entry finished trying to add that on.

Submit your final entries to the "Final Entry" thread of your category.

Challenge ends on the last day of February at midnight. Judging will take place in the days that follow.

Don't forget to check out the folks at www.simplymaya.com who are also participating!

Get your entries in!

Judging will take place over the next couple days, upon which the next challenge will also be announced.

Reminder: We need FIVE valid final NORMAL entries (combined from both simplymaya and simplylightwave) to compete for the grand prize book! This is to make sure the cost of purchase and shipping the book is worth it! We don't want to reward one entry just because he happend to be the only one to finish! As always, VIP points will also be awarded to the normal and newbie winners.

Let's see a real rumble between contenstants! If you've entered as a newbie but want to change your mind, feel free.
