Default Tower Details Chain Animation Test

Well thinking about adding chains but wanted to see how it might perform when animating,, so decided to try out the animation. First test i did using MD,,, but not really happy with it,,, no idea why it did not work the way i wanted it to. So i played around some more and finally used the spline control to test it out. Think its nice. Any ideas on the MD part is welcomed... Keeps not working me....

Edit... Oh ya... this is a saved preview... short also...in DivX format.

Well,, here is a small update on the fellow,,, not really going to do much body details,, and he is sort of in stone,,, at least the back part of him,,, and maybe the sides. Still working on the right type of claws or fingers for him.

Default Tower Details Gargoyle Completed

Well,,, after much tweaking,,, this is what i ended up with,,, the wings and human like hands and feet are on purpose. Hehe,,, kind of like a weird mix between the two. Now creating a platform for this creature,,, so that i can add it to my tower.

Chris, Thanks,,, think you are also getting much more done than me, all the flash has got me choking,,, so its coming slow. Ah,,, me and Flash,,, its a love and hate relationship... sometimes i love it,,,, cause get mula from it. But hate it cause it keeps me away from lightwave...

That's one ugly mutha of a gargoyle! But then, they're meant to be! Nice little detail. I was thinking that making something detailed like this and adding it to the building would take forever but you seem to have put him together pretty quick. Good going!

Sweet. I'd be tempted to kill the specularity a little and add a stone microbump to make him look more like granit than polished marble.

Getting there. Needs work on the surfacing like you say, but overall, its looking good.

I'm not sure about the scale of the door against the drawbridge/chains however. The door looks a little small compared to the other features...
