What book is better?
Hi y'all!
I have LW7 recently and updated it to LW7.5c I have a little experience in 3D modeling, but LW is completely new to me. What book is best to start with for a newbie like I am? In the Netherlands there are two books available for LW7: - LightWave 3D 7.5 by N. Boughen - Inside LightWave 7 by D. Ablan What book is better in your opinion to start with? Thanx in advance. |

Dan Ablan's books are always the best complement to the Lightwave Manual so start with that...

Ditto on Inside Lightwave 7. You may also consider buying Essential Lightwave by Timothy Albee. Essential Lightwave is good for people without any LW or 3D experience at all.

The nice thing is that these days there are a load of tutorials out there that help to get you on your way. There certainly weren't that many when I started out and I had to feel my way around. Inside Lightwave is essential reading - it gives you a good start and will also give you confidence when it comes to trying out projects of your own. Good luck with it!
