I tried to reproduc your scene with your setting and one of my car, but my result is not very good. I was wondering if you can share me your scene not your car but you scene or explaine me how you do it. Thank you

McGrady
Sorry McGrady,
I think the problem lies with me, I,m rendering radiosity via fPrime much much quicker, regarding surfacing the same model you,ll need to test your particular surfaces thru Lightwaves renderer. Sorry again for mixup Alan. |

I was comparing the render above to a actual photo of a mini and the only thing that really sticks out os needing to be fixed is the smoothness in some areas. if youre still planning on working on this more to perfect it then I would definately address this. Look between the headlight and the grill... there should be a nice crisp smooth reflection there but it seems that it is a little bumpy. Also along the seam of the hood and the right front quarter panel. I can see some minor bumps there that I believe you should iron out. I think youll appreciate the improvement even though it would be minor. Other than that, looks a hell of a lot like the photo. Great work, oh yeah... the color scheme Im using for the cobra is temporary, but I am partial to the stripes. I think that Im going to go with a deep blue or something in the end. Got to figure out the surface and rendering settings that I like 1st, then ill experiment. later... thanks again for the compliments.
