Current Project
here's a scene I'm working on, still doing some tweaking and designing the characters to go with it. All comments welcome...

A very intriguing piece of work this is! One crit though to make it the bicycle more real i think you should model a kick stand for it and have it rest on that. Other than that 5***** for the work so far.

thanks for the feedback!!! Actually there is a kickstand, if you look closely...it's left of the pedal closest to you.

I like your scene so far, But i suggest you should change the sky.
Did you made the sky with skytracer? Because most of the time I don't like the results of it. Sorry if I sound rude, because that's not what i want But besides the sky, i like it much. Nice modeling. Maybe give the bike some rusty textures!?? |

awww....the sky...yes it is skytracer2 (which is good for a quick render, in my opion). The final sky will be done with vue5, which will look much better. As for the bike, yes.... rust indeed.... I'll be working on the UVmaps and textures very soon. The bike that inspired me, looked really "aged", so it's going to look cool once it's finished. thanks for the comments.

Very nice, love the style of the render, kind of reminds me of Rene Magrittes paintings (although there would have to be a fish riding the bike or an apple for a sun or something )

funny, I was thinking the same thing !
It's got the same kinda setup and strange lighting as a magritte. I like your work ! |

Looks cool so far. Any updates on the characters? The scene reminds me a lot of the Huntington Beach pier, not sure why - just popped into my head when I saw the image.
