Default What is the easiest way to animate the eye?

What is the easiest way to animate the eye, other than using bone?

I've tried animating the texture of the eye by targeting it to a null, but it turns out that the texture move in a way that I not desired to.

Is it there is another better solution for animating the eye?

UV maps and morph is the easiest way to achieve a believable effect.

Check out the free eye tutorial on this site for detailed information.
