crazy nutty question
Hey all.... thanks for the help on my last question. I have yet another one........ Is there a plug in out there that will affect the geometry made by spline patches...... by using the original spline cage...? y'know... like you've made the geometry but noticed to late that the cage is a bit off...... but instead of remaking the geometry you just grab a point from the original cage?
just wondering.. Thanks.

Although something like that would be really useful - I can't remember seeing anything like that myself. Presumably you've checked flay.com just to see if they've got anything like that in their databases.

I seem to recall that there was some sort of tutorial on making a control cage on the Newtek site ... I'll take a look and be right back...

Hmm... maybe not quite what you need, but I don't know - maybe you can adapt it. The tutorial concerns making animation deformation cages in LightWave (á la Maya)...
