Hey!!! We've got another month! I thought I wouldn't be able to finish this guy because of my exams...

So far, i've completed my Clank model, and i'm done (I think )this weapon to go along with him.

I've reduced the tri count of the gun to 498 tris and UV mapped some textures using some pics of real weapons as reference

Bullet: I see what u mean... I was not entirely happy with Clank's dirt textures, so that'll probably change very soon.

Cheers!

Thanks guys!

i'm just gonna take this nice and slow and add more stuff... make it look better etc.

Sharp: If u paid close attention, all the rust patterns are completely different, because my gun texture is a compilation of like 12 different real weapon pictures that i borrowed off Google. Then I just took off parts of those pics and clone stamped any gaps etc... (The front nozzle part or whatever its called was off a flamethrower! I just streched it...) lol

Anyhoo, I re-worked Clank's textures, because bullet_evader had pointed out that they seemed blurry, and they were too, so i tried again.

My gun UV:

Below is my gun texture with the little pieces of the real guns actually visibly separate. The black lines were were just clone stamped out for the final texture. The handle of the gun was clone stamped in. It took me a while but i did it!

Planar UV btw.
