Hey, great site. This is what I've been looking for. Video tutorials.
There are some good html tutorials out there, but sometimes they aren't explained well or there are details left out, so this is the way to go.
I'm definitely up for supporting this system and will be signing up for some points soon. I hope it works out for everybody.

The ocean tutuorail...... the red circle on the clicks help.
My only suggestion is for the person doing them to say all the values they enter on everything, not just some of the input values, it helps to hear it when you can't read it clearly.

That's great, actually I only did the ocean so far and the few things I missed helped me in the way that I played around with it a little more and achieved my own look.

I'm viewing the vids on my other computer so I can run LW on my main one to keep as much memory dedicated to LW as possible. The computer I'm viewing the tutorials on is a PII 450, STB Velocity 4400, 256 Ram, 800x600, using media player, so maybe the problem with seeing the tutorials clearly is on my end.
Got any suggestions?

Thanks

Mark

asides sexual favours for me

helping people out o their wips? commenting... being nice to members etc... sometimes if we see someone is doing well and helping we will sometimes reward with a few points.

The other day I noticed a guy on the simplymaya board being really helpfull over a period of time (not spam either) and i decided to give him a few points... this is by no means a guareentee though

hmmm well the sysytem there seem good enough to run them mate! have you tested against you better machine to check for quality?

we do have quite a lot of compression on the tuts otherwise they would be huge.. but ill ask around for you mate... just make sure you have all the latest codec.. they are available under every tutorial... zoom player is there and i use this all the time!

Mark - just had a word with our site programmer (dave) and he informs me that the playback on that spec machine will indeed struggle with the divx and resolutions we have.

Hope this helps a little

I really hope I'm not being too insisting but what happened to the idea of being able to upload presets?

Oh, Ok.

Sorry for being pushy, its just that before someone said that they were doing it and adding more catagories.

The catagories were added but not the uploading possibility.
