How about just placing a sack with a few presents poking out of the top behind the rider?
|
I agree with the side sitting look. But you can of course give him a turned neck facing the camera and with one finger pointing at the camera,,, it will be even more cool.

Mark: Yeah, I tried that but I don't think it looks good. It seems to wreck the image. But then the image looks a little simple without them. I put them in the image below. Please tell me if you think I should take them out or leave them in.
Kumar: I agree with you and mark but if I do that I'll have to redo the chains and quite a bit of his cloth. I thought I'd be able to work on it today but I guess I won't after all (I'm not going to be home most of the day). I was hoping to finnish it by today and leave it to render during the night, but I guess I'll finish it tommarow and leave it rendering tommarow night. So I hope to have him turned in my next update. :) |
I kinda like it with the sack of presents in there. Lends it more of a christmassy feel. Give the actual beast a red nose too - really hammer the point home :)

Well it didn't take as long as I thought it would to change his position. If you guys have any more tips please tell me since I'm hopeing to create the final big render very soon. Do you guys think the white fur around his face should be whiter? |
Nope. I'd say that it looks good as it is.

Hehe thats really nice work..... Maybe next year i'll get into the competions too. Very nice :) :)
