Formula 1: 2004 Toyota TF104
Heres the next car in the 2004 season that Im rendering.
4 simple studio-type shots of this low-poly game model. Only hi-res parts are the tyres which I made and have worked on new textures and surfacing for this model. Other F1 renders are on my website. http://www.racingrenders.com/picture...ta04/tf104.jpg http://www.racingrenders.com/picture...04/tf104-b.jpg http://www.racingrenders.com/picture...04/tf104-c.jpg http://www.racingrenders.com/picture...04/tf104-d.jpg |
Awesome work as always :)

Very nice work |
awesome ! but why is the "nose" so lowpoly ? hop the render subpatch level a little :)
|
its not subpatched. plain polys.
Nose is low poly because this is a game model. |
wow this is an awsome looking thing...and the texturing is awsome to...YEAH :D
|
Excellent texturing,,,, Man thats sweet looking.

what type of settings did u use for the hdr.... I am having trouble with my hdr
|
I used the stpetersprobe.hdr image and I normally use around 10-15% brightness.
Area light is 70% and Global is 15% |
did you have radiosisty turned on?
|
Id imagine so, the area light would not light it that well. Thats a beauty. Do you do that for a hobby or pay packet?
|
No radiosity was used.
Its purely a hobby although I was approached by an F1 team to make a one-off animation of their car. Ive done some rendering for a CART team also. |
