Superb piece of modelling, Salomon. No crits here!

DigiMatt 01-06-2004 08:17 AM

have to agree with Fallenswordsman.. absolutely great modelling!

At the risk of offending.....did I tell you that I hate you already?

Seriously nice work man. Is this still subpatch or have you frozen the mesh to add the extra detail?

Not crit but are the parts animatable or is it one piece?

thank you guys, and I know that i use to add some dirt and the lightning isn't really perfect too.

thanks Roux, your sabre is really amazing and i like it much, i use subpath for the model and then I can take control for low polygons model when the aircraft is far away from the camera, here add an other aircraft WIP wireframe, and I'm sure that you know that airplane:) don't you?

Sorry to not showing the aircraft animation simply because it's a customer work and i can't show it by now.

fantastic work!

no crits here although maybe a tad to clean :)

Leovenous 02-06-2004 05:14 AM

Looks like a Harrier. (at least thats what we call them in the US) or VTOL.

I know what you mean by too clean Kevin, but sometimes when I see pictures of real life jets I think they are too clean also. So... maybe maybe not.

hell no, guess once again:) but it's a great idea to make a Harrier plus 3d model, I like this airplane too, remerber when i saw the True Lies movie for the first time.

looking real :)

Roux 03-06-2004 11:20 AM

Nice SAAB Viggen! Is it going to be silver or later camouflage scheme?
I imagine the harrier would be very hard to do with just subpath. It's a very untidy airframe with lots of inter-fitted and moving bits.

I bet you could prove me wrong though.:-)

you get it Roux:) it will have the sueden typical camouflage scheme, you know that i don't like those low vis that much, all grey and nothing exiting.

Later will make the Harrier just for fun, I think you are right that it would be a bit different way for the modelling than the Viggen, but will try to make one:)

wait, is that last one a photo you're working from?

if it is your model, how did you do the flame and the heat distortion?
